After trying various things (including re-running the installer for the 002/003 drivers), I plugged in a Digi 003R+ and a Digi 003R and both of these devices worked, both with Protools and Reason.

A few days ago, after cleaning, I tried to run protools and it complained it couldn't find the hardware. I have considered the CS2 for 8.0.4 LE, but the updates detail do not mention any fixes to the ASIO driver.I've been running Protools 9.06 on a Windows 7 box with a digi 002 interface for years. So, I'm curious if anyone has some suggestions. It only occurs with the Digi 003 ASIO driver. I have changed the driver back to the Windows driver, and this issue does not come up when using the other driver. It does come back when I press stop, but it at the "start" location.

I can place the "cursor" anywhere in the file for a "start point", and it will start from that point, but the "cursor" goes away the minute I press play. However, when I start the project playing, the "cursor" indicator disappears and I cannot follow the track as easily. When I open a stereo file, it will play and all appears well. When I fire off SoundForge 10, everything starts normally. I like to use the Digi 003, for sending the signal to my studio monitors.

I use SoundForge (from Sony Media) for some stereo projects (vinyl restoration and some mastering). I have Pro Tools LE 8.0.4 running running fine with Windows 7 64-bit, but also like to use the ASIO driver for the Digi 003. Not sure this is exactly the right forum, but my issue does revolve around the ASIO driver Avid has with Pro Tools LE 8.0.4, for Windows 7 64 bit machines.
